About me

In 2003 I completed a Grad. Dip Ed at ECU with a major in Art. From 2004 onwards I taught at Servite College, St Augustine College and Mundaring Christian College. In 2014, I volunteered at the Red Cross, teaching Art to refugees. I then curated and exhibited these works for an exhibition at Central TAFE. In 2018 I completed a Master of Art and Design at Curtin University.

Methodology

What I do

I use permanent ink to draw straight on to the raw wood without any pre-drawing or erasing. This exact process must use mistakes as part of my methodology. I draw points, the smallest form of a line to build up value. These points represent millions of mortals over millennia and the permanent ink represent eternal values.

  • You are interested and knowledgeable about music, art, architecture, archaeology, nature, and you love to travel. Experiencing new cities and cultures excites you. With your panache and eye for quality, you invest in people whose aesthetics you like, and that is why you will enjoy my work.

  • I'm on a mission to prove that art can be inspirational and life-changing by sharing my work. What sets me apart is that I have works spanning over forty years, and as I change and grow, my art changes too. So, you have a variety of work to select from, and it is evolving as I am creating.

  • I'm interested in so many things. I get excited about patterns in nature, from the neuron to the nebulae and this interest fuels my work. I hope to spark your curiosity and I invite you on my creative adventure.
